Looking to fill the Host/Hostess position, but this Job is more than seating guests at a table.
The position includes but is not limited to:
- Setting up the dining room and arranging tables spaced correctly to gain the maximum number of guests during one seating.
- Handling and expediting reservations and table allocations.
- Answering phones, taking to-go orders answering questions about the menu, and food allergies but not limited to.
- Coordinating dining room service by spacing out reservations correctly as well as handling walk-in dining service and coordinating the servers' tables by ensuring immaculate guest experience while Managing activities of the servers and/or the bus persons for clean tables.
- Working closely with Chefs to act as a liaison between the guest and the kitchen.
- Must be able to work at Our Busiest Days and Times, Weekends and Holidays are required. Summer is the busiest Season.
- Must be Organized, Multi Tasking Skills, Self Starter Skills, Be able to Manage a Busy Wait List and be able to Move Reservations Around to Accommodate Walk Ins and Reservations
- Must have experience working in a restaurant or hotel setting.
